These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Bluret browser extension and website (bluret.com). By installing or using our software, you agree to these terms.

01. Description of Service
Bluret provides an in-browser privacy and redaction tool designed for Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Brave, Edge). The software allows users to blur, blackout, camouflage, or shield sensitive data (including text, input fields, images, and entire browser tabs) to prevent accidental information leaks during screen shares, video recordings, and screenshot exports.
02. The 7-Day Free Trial
New installations of Bluret include an automatic seven (7) day evaluation trial with full access to all Pro Tier features. No payment method or credit card information is required to activate the trial.
Upon the conclusion of the 7-day trial period, the software automatically transitions to the Free Tier (which includes standard watermarked exports and essential manual tools) unless you purchase or activate a Lifetime License. You will never be automatically charged.
03. License Grant & Device Limits
When you purchase a Bluret Lifetime License ($29–$35), we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the software on up to three (3) personal or business computers owned or controlled by you (e.g. your desktop, work laptop, and portable device).
You may not:
- Resell, lease, rent, or sublicense your license key to third parties.
- Share your license key publicly on internet forums or coupon aggregators.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code for unauthorized distribution.
04. Payments, Taxes & Merchant of Record
All commercial payments and order fulfillment for Bluret are managed by our Merchant of Record, Creem.io. Creem handles billing transactions, invoicing, local VAT/sales tax compliance, and currency conversions. By completing a purchase, you agree to Creem’s terms and conditions.
05. 14-Day Refund Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with Bluret. We offer a 14-day 100% money-back guarantee on all Lifetime License purchases.
If Bluret does not work for your workflow or you experience any technical issues that we cannot resolve, simply contact our support team at support@bluret.com within 14 days of your purchase date, and we will issue a full refund through Creem.io.
06. Disclaimer of Warranties
Bluret is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While our client-side algorithms, regex patterns, and shaders are engineered for high precision, you acknowledge that no automated redaction tool can guarantee 100% detection of all confidential data across every third-party webpage layout.
You are responsible for reviewing your screen, recordings, and screenshots prior to public broadcast or transmission. Bluret disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
07. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bluret and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data breaches, or business interruption arising from your use or inability to use the software. In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed the total amount paid by you for your license.
